Color reflects the Micro-Location Score at each point — a 0-100 screening signal aggregated from the actual ratings, occupancy, and revenue of active short-term rentals within one mile of that point. Higher = stronger location signal as judged by real guest experience.
Click anywhere on the map to see the score at that point, including the components (sentiment, market, density) and how many nearby short-term rentals it's based on.
Uncolored areas (transparent) don't have enough nearby active short-term rentals to compute a reliable score. That includes water, large parks, and STR-sparse neighborhoods. Treat absence as "needs deeper diligence" rather than "low score."
